I purchased this rare 1984 Pontiac Fiero Indy Pace Car Edition #208 from the original owner with every piece of documentation 5 years ago. It is among the most unique cars ever to pace the Indy 500. It is the only mid-engine car ever to pace the 500, as well as the shortest car to ever hold the honor. It is also one of very few 4-cylinder cars to pace at Indy. Production started in August 1983 and ended 1988, producing 370,168 total Fieros with less than half of 1 percent being 1984 Indy Pace Cars!! Less than 75 Pace Cars still on the road!! Fast becoming a very upcoming collectible car. It is very clean and ONLY 42,390 MILES to car shows and car events only. Never been driven in inclement weather of any kind.No accidents or paint work and shows little wear for an original, survivor, unrestored 1984 car. The car is completely stock except for the mufflers I put on for a better sound. It runs and drives excellent and the car is surprisingly smooth and handles very well, like a much more exotic car. Car comes with all the factory Pace Car documentation that came with the car new, including all media articles that were written and pictures of the original pace car on the track on race day. It has meticulously maintained, religiously. Only hand washed and waxed. All fluids and filters always done before needed. No leaks or squeaks, no accidents or paintwork.
