This was exactly what I needed. I had real plaster walls that had delaminated. I first was going to dry wall over them, but decided to try the webbing to stabilize the grainy surface under the plaster and then mud over it. Wow. The mesh stuck to the grainy surface (dusted first) well, then I applied a skim coat of mud to stabilize. Once dry, I added a couple more layers. Looks like a pro did it. Perfect.

Does not unroll easily and when you pull it It rips. I returned the first roll thinking it was damaged but the second roll was no better had to litterly lay it out like wallpaper before putting it on the wall. I have a 100+ year old house and have used 4 rolls prior and never had this problem

The mesh worked well to stabilize a very old section of wallboard, from which I had cut and scraped several layers of old (possibly over 100 years from the pattern), and to provide a base for applying joint compound to give a paintable surface. My only concern is whether it will last.
