Nice looking vintage ashtray. Beautifully designed, sturdy, square vintage ironstone ashtray made by RoyalCrownford, Staffordshire, England for P. Otis & Co., Tea Importer. The ashtray features a curved roomy bowl, 4 sturdy legs and 4 cigarette rests. Each side features a small arch topped by a decorative dark blue border which wraps around the ashtray. There is light overall crazing and I’ve added a pad to the bottom of one leg so it sets level. Free of chips and cracks. There’s a tiny glaze pop on the corner of one leg. Measures 5-3/16” square and 1-3/4” high.
