The New NVRAM chip will work in Data East System 2, Data East System 3, Stern Whitestar, Sega, Williams System 11B / System 11C and Williams WPC 89 and WPC95 pinball machines.  It replaces the 6264 , 62256, SRAM and will require no batteries to hold settings.  You simply disconnect the batteries, remove the original 6264 SRAM and install the new NVRAM adapter module.
Sega, Data East, and Stern typically have the original RAM in an IC socket from the factory so NVRAM is plug and play.  Some
Williams games have the original SRAM hard soldered to the MPU so the included DIP28 wide socket needs to be installed.  WPC89 and WPC95 games have a real time clock which will not keep proper time when NVRAM is used.
It Should last a lifetime when used in a pinball.  The RAM SOIC to DIP28 adapters are factory soldered with care in the USA and individually tested and very high Quality.
