How to choose the correct SIZE and HUB
COVER
:
Size:
WL001
- The larger lock - Fits 15", 16" and 17" wheels with tires up to a 235 wide size (31" max. tire dia. / 9-1/4" max. tire width).
WL002
- The smaller lock - Fits 13" and 14" wheels
(25" max. tire dia. / 8-1/2" max. tire width)

Each Locks Weighs 30 Pounds (Actual Lock Weight)
SIZE EXCEPTION -
If you have a 14" rim with tire size 215/75/R14, you will need to order the LARGE lock (WL001). We will need to modify one piece on the lock (no charge). If you have this wheel/tire combination, please be sure to send a note with your purchase (or send a separate note right after the purchase) to let us know you need the modified lock. Thank you.
Hub Cover/Wheel Type:
Deep Cover/Steel Wheels
- This is, by far, the most common type. Choose if you have pressed steel wheels that are set about half way into the rim
(see photos 2-7 and 13-16 at top of listing)

Shallow Cover/Alloy Wheels
- Not as common. The reason this option costs more is because the lock comes with the deep cover included. If you have alloy wheels, or any type that is close to being flush with the outside of the rim, you must choose this option to
add
the shallow cover. This will give you
both
covers for steel or alloy wheels (not a bad thing). Sorry, but there is no exchange of covers, or option for only the shallow cover

Stores Flat for easy storage
The wing nuts only allow the arms to swivel flat for storage. The arms can not be removed.

Hitch style locks of all types, and chain locks, are only a token inconvenience to thieves. They are cut or pried off in seconds, or another chain is used to tow away.
Many wheel locks leave the wheel nuts exposed. Thieves simply remove the wheel with the lock still attached, and either drive away on the second axle, or install a spare.
Other wheel locks can be easily pulled off with a tow strap and another vehicle. The video shows the Brahma pulling the entire trailer sideways.
