Buck Owens Flex Bus 1967 Photo

Description

A classic photo from 1967 of the Buck Owens bus. Ronnie Jackson posed with the bus in Lexington, Kentucky, when Buck & the Buckaroos played the University of Kentucky. This was long before Ronnie became one of the Buckaroos. Buck retired the bus in 1970 and all tours were by Buck's private plane, Lear Jets, helicopters and commercial airlines. Ronnie never saw the bus again until 1970 when the famous bus turned on Broadway in Nashville during the DJ Convention. Buck's radio station KUZZ in Bakersfield used the bus on their remote broadcasts. The photo is from the original negative from 1967 and print in an 8.5 X 11 glossy.
