a wonderful antique Blue Transferware Plate  by George Jones in the early 1870's.
The plate is titled "Farm" and shows a lovely scene of a farmer with his animals.
The plate has a dark blue wide border with a garland of leaves and berries.
There is a scroll design that outlines the outside center of the plate -& some shading of blue in the center motif
The plate is 10 1/2" in diameter and is Great antique condition.
It is stamped in blue on the back Farm, Jones logo, England and - there are also some impressed marks
