K1 Race Gear's new Sportsman line fills a much needed void in the racing industry. Most SFI-5 Pants are constructed from a fire retardant cotton, although highly effective against flames, the fabric is heavy in weight, therefore, not extremely flexible and hot to wear in the summer. K1's Sportsman Pants are constructed with a lightweight Nomex outer shell and a soft knit Nomex inner lining, thereby reducing the overall weight, which in turn allows more flexibility and breath-ability.
