    Description

    Korean 19th century Bat Chest.
    58 x 40 x 17 inches.
    Constructed of pine wood frame and book matched zelkova veneers on front panels. Stacks as two pieces.  Metalwork is pewter. Referred to as an "e ching chang" meaning two story chest. Used for clothing. Part of the dowry to be given to the groom. Incredible condition.
