Its globular body measures about 7.25" in diameter (18.5 cm) by 8.5" tall (21.5 cm).
This vase weighs 2.48 lbs. (1.13 kg).
It would make a splendid bud vase with its lovely, underglaze green, grass pattern. Having been in storage for over 80 years, it remains in excellent, museum quality condition with no cracks, repairs, or restorations.
This celadon green vase has a lovely, crackle finish of the clear glaze over the hand-drawn, vertical blades of grass design.
It is all handmade, thrown and glazed and made of a high-fire ceramic for lasting durability. This lovely melon-shaped vase has a stunning, high-gloss glaze, a small raised foot, and a tall neck with a trumpet-shaped, flared mouth.
Perfect for your own collection or for a wonderful, special gift!! :)
Please look carefully at the macro photos taken indoors, under LED lights, as they are part of the description.
The stand is NOT part of this auction.
The white spots on the vase are from the LED white lights I used to illuminate the vase so as to show the wonderful detail of this work of art.
What a great addition to your collection or as a present!
