    Description

This is a finely decorated jar with a well painted morning glory which goes around the jar, wine bottle? in the style of later Japanese pieces The jar with garlic type mouth is a lovely shape and I have seen the same decoration on one with faceted sides otherwise the same shape and decoration. These pieces are dated 17thc but I think this is later. The  jar stands 6.5in(16.5 cm)tall and is 3.5 in(8.5cm). across at its widest point. These pieces this and the other I have listed are from a major Ex U.S.A. collection.I believe it to be from the Bunwon kiln as there is no kiln wreckage on the pure white body. The jar is in perfect condition
