    Marked Antique W. Ridgway & Co Blue Willow Deep Rectangle Platter Transferware.
    My family still uses blue willow dinner ware as our daily dishes. This platter is an older piece that we don't use, so we're offering for auction.
    The platter measures 11 7/8" across and 9.25" tall and just shy of 1.5" deep. The mark on the back was first used in 1927 for W. Ridgway & Co, so the platter most likely dates to the late 20's or 1930's.
    It has one tiny chip on the underside of the rim, right near the blue makers mark. Otherwise it has no chips or cracks. The transfer is clear and bright without being overly dark or too light. It's just right, in my opinion.
