    Vintage 1980s Pittman’s Race Cars Winston Cup Pit Crew Simpson Racing Suit NASCAR. Made in USA.
    This suit is amazing. Vintage Simpson Performance pit suit from the 1980s (I believe) based on the suit itself and the metal Talon zipper. This is from the estate of a man, James Ives, who lived in Nashville and was very involved in the local racing scene. Unfortunately I know little else of its provenance.
    This suit has some minor staining throughout and a few pulled threads here and there...it’s seen some wear throughout the years but it’s in pretty great shape for its age. No holes or thin spots...still totally wearable. It’s a Simpson, so it’s fire retardant and super well-made. Measures 20” across the waistband, approx 61” from shoulder to hem.
