First time I used one of these in over 50 years of DIY drywall finishing. Taped a 20' x 25' 4 room addition (including closets and inside corners) in 6 hours or less. Well worth the cost and added effort to thin the drywall mud.

I gave this baby a go and it work out fine. Of course like any new tool you have a learning curve. For example how thick the mud should be and how wide should you open the door. I used this for everything, walls, corners and even the ceiling. It is a little messy but does work good. The only down side is pulling the tape out of the end at times.

Works well does a good job of pre mudding the tape. Gets alitte heavy doing ceiling joints.

Not the best banjo I have ever used but not the worst. It will do the job however and I rate it higher than the plastic one. Of course you have to thin the mud, as you do with all banjo's and bazookas. For you beginners watch a video on u-tube to show you how to use this tool and remember watering down your mud (dry wall compound) is critical to the proper use of this tool.
It requires some sheetrocking skill but does get 'water down mud' on tape effectively.

Someone gave me this taper. Was hesitant with usage as it required more cleanup. Done my share of hand taping but found this tool was benefical in geting a good, thined down mud coating, on the back of the tape. Does require some skill. Will keep using it.
