WWII DUKW (DUCK), Amphibious Vehicle, INSTRUMENT PANEL TIRE PRESSURE GAUGE (G501). "STAMPED "MADE IN THE USA" BY "AC" AUTO PARTS.  *THIS TIRE PRESSURE (Inflation) GAUGE, TO A HISTORIC VEHICLE MANUFACTERED 1942 - 1945, IS MARKED ON THE BACK WITH "AC," "MADE IN USA." (AC AUTO PARTS)  THE ONLY AC MARKED I HAVE SEEN, MOST ARE MANUFACTERED BY GM.  Glass has no damage and is entact. Army OD Green paint Trim is 99% entact. The OD Green gauge is approximately 3.75" x 1.35", with pressure graduations from 0-50 and marked for sand/mud, Coral and Highway. This pressure gauge allowed the operator to inflate and deflate all six tires according to the terrain from inside of the cab.  Comes with original instrument panel mounting bracket.  The gauge is Condition is "Used" like new condition. Doesn't appear to have ever been installed.  There were 21,147 of these 6 wheel drive vehicles made between 1942-1945.  DUKW, which is the actual vehicle designation stands for D=1942, U=Utility Truck (Amphibious), K=Front Wheel Drive & W=2 Rear Driving Wheels (Tandem Axle).  SEE PICTURES FOR DETAILS.  Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
